The Hope We Should Have Now
Well, I guess I’ve spent long enough avoiding this space. I usually hit a wall once or twice a year and have to just walk away from this ongoing, disheveled project. It’s funny how I always get to the point of wanting to dump this thing, clear out the databases and find another outlet for my thoughts. Then, after a while I realize that I’ve put too much time in here and all I really need is a break.
It won’t be too much longer that we celebrate the 5 year mark … but that’s something for another day.
Hope was the theme of the Obama campaign. We heard the word “Hope” more times than the dreaded “Maverick.”
Here’s what I hope …
- I hope the Obama I saw on 60 Minutes last night is the Obama that shows up in the Oval Office. This is the same person who gave the victory speech on November 4th. The person who spoke of governing to the country, not his party.
- I hope the Obama that shows up in the White House has the testicular fortitude to stand up to the wack-job who is currently carrying the title of Speaker of the House. My hope is the same for the idiot who is called the Senate Majority Leader.
- I hope the masses of stupid, sheep-like, media led people who elected the Most Liberal Senator of the Current Congress take the time, over the next 4 years, to learn about their government and not just swallow what MSNBC (The Obama Network) tells them is real.
- I hope we can form a viable third party that isn’t full of fringe, wacko’s who are one issue zealots.
- I hope 4 years from now I still have the ability to call the Speaker of the House a scary, uber-socialist WACK-JOB and not have black helicopters landing in my back yard.
Hope is a powerful thing. I just Hope all these mindless sheep that hinged all their Hope on Barak Obama wind up being the lucky monkey that pulled the right lever and didn’t receive the electric shock.

Don’t forget that the Mesiah also talked about “change”…which sofar seems to have eluded him judging by his political appointments, somewhere in the neighborhood of 85% were former Clinton Administration retreads…there’s the “change” you can believe in.
I too have been sitting here stewing and simmering watching and waiting for the valve to blow and force me to splash this page with a rant that is long long over due…
I’m totally amazed at the state of the economy and the world today… companies that shipped jobs overseas and are now crying because they need govt. bail outs… from the govt. that negotiated onesided unfair trade deals that forced these companies to cut costs by shipping jobs overseas… meanwhile the out of work ex-employees can’t make their house payments and so the financial industry crys that it is on the verge of collapse can’t lend money to industry to cover their operational costs… on and on it goes… now I read the govt. is not able to meet demand for the sale of gold coin… the investers in the stockmarket are pulling out before the communists govt. takes over in January.
Buy Gold, Buy Silver, Buy Bullets.

the country was great and heading in the right direction. then “love me daddy, no wmd, 9/11 was all iraq (but all saudi), this country is in the shitter” Mr. Bush took the office, now THE MESIAH is here to clean up the mess and get this country back on the right track. Might take a little bit after 8 years of Hurricane Shitstorm.

I can’t even follow the thread of this conversation. I don’t really understand what he’s trying to say except that he’s been in the hole for Obama because Obama wasn’t Bush … and that is a real lame reason.
